If you've logged into CentralDesk lately and thought "wait, this looks different," you're not imagining things. We've been shipping a steady stream of updates: mostly the kind that make the app feel faster, clearer, and noticeably less annoying to use every day.
Here's a look at what's changed.
A Smarter Listing Health Score
The listing health score got a meaningful overhaul. Buy box ownership is no longer part of the calculation. It's a sales metric, not a content quality signal, and it was skewing scores in ways that didn't actually help you improve your listings.
In its place, the score now checks for six or more carousel images and whether you have a video on the listing. Those are things you can actually do something about. Scores have been recomputed across all products, so don't be alarmed if numbers shifted.
Negative Review Alerts
Nobody likes finding out a product's rating slipped while they weren't looking. CentralDesk now monitors your average star ratings between syncs and creates an alert automatically when a product drops 0.3 stars or more (with at least five reviews on the product).
There's a new "Ratings" filter tab on the Alerts page so you can pull these up without wading through everything else. It's not a pleasant notification to receive, but it's a lot better than finding out three months later.
ASIN-Level Case History
Every product detail page now shows the full ticket history for that ASIN: every case ever opened, with status badges and clickable rows. When you open a new ticket from the product page, the ASIN pre-fills automatically.
This one sounds small. It is not small. If you've ever tried to track down what happened with a listing reinstatement from eight months ago, you know exactly what we mean.
A Rebuilt Alerts Inbox
The alerts experience got a full rebuild. You now have a proper inbox with read/unread state, type filters (Unread, All, Buy Box, Changes, Health, Ratings), a per-account switcher, and mark-read actions. There's also an unread count badge in the sidebar so nothing gets buried.
We also changed how change alerts roll up. Instead of one alert per ASIN per sync (which was a lot), you'll get a single rollup per account per sync. Buy box loss alerts stay per-ASIN since those are time-sensitive. Everyone else's inbox will be considerably calmer.
Catalog Navigation, Simplified
The Catalog dropdown now shows Changes and Health only. The old Checkup page has been retired and removed from the nav. Health is now the single place to review listing quality, which is where it always should have been.
We also added a new Catalog summary page with three stat tiles at a glance: Total ASINs, Recent Changes, and Average Listing Health. It supports an "All Accounts" aggregate mode, which agencies and multi-brand sellers have been asking for.
Account Switcher Upgrades
The old pill buttons are gone. The account switcher across Catalog pages now uses avatar tiles with deterministic color coding. Each tile shows the account name and ASIN count. It's easier to parse at a glance, especially if you're managing several brands.
For agency accounts, clicking "View Tickets" from a client card now correctly filters to that client only. It should have always done that. Our apologies to anyone who noticed earlier.
Faster Page Loads
We've also shipped meaningful performance improvements across the app. Page loads are faster. The app feels snappier. We're not going to put a number on it because "X% faster" claims in product updates are universally suspicious, but you'll notice it.
