Amazon Accelerate 2026 takes place September 22 through 24 at the Seattle Convention Center. Early-bird registration, which saves $100 on the in-person ticket price, closes tomorrow, August 8. If you're considering going in person, today is the last day to get the discount. Virtual attendance is expected to be available for general sessions and select breakouts, as it was in 2025, though Amazon hasn't confirmed free access for the virtual option this year.
Amazon hasn't published the full session list yet. But the 2026 conference runs 150+ sessions across 11 breakout topic areas, and sellers who have attended in past years know the pattern: this is where Amazon announces what's coming, not what's already here.
Why This Year's Accelerate Matters More Than Usual
The pace of platform change in 2026 has been unusually high. Title character limits dropped to 75. AI-generated image disclosure requirements went live.
Sponsored Products expanded into creator content. The Ads Agent rolled out across 11 countries.
The Featured Offer eligibility requirements are coming down. Alexa for Shopping now mediates a meaningful share of mobile search queries. All of that happened before the conference.
What typically gets announced at Accelerate are the next round of changes. Sellers who hear about them in September are better positioned than sellers who read about them in a trade newsletter in November when they're already live. The conference is Amazon telling you what they're going to do before they do it. That's worth showing up for.
One area to watch closely this year: the full rollout of agentic ad formats and whatever Amazon plans for Alexa+ as a commerce surface going into Q4. Amazon has been moving deliberately toward a world where more purchases happen through AI-mediated recommendations rather than traditional search-and-click. Accelerate is where they usually explain what that means for seller tools and ad formats.
What the Seller Café Is and Why It's the Best Part
Alongside the main sessions, Amazon offers one-on-one meetings with Amazon staff at what they call the Seller Café. These are 30-minute slots with Amazon category managers, advertising specialists, and account health teams. You get to ask specific questions about your account, your listings, or your ad strategy and get direct answers from people with full visibility into your account.
The Seller Café fills up fast. Amazon has asked sellers to book their slots before the conference rather than hoping for walk-in availability. If you're registering, set a reminder to book your slots as soon as the scheduling system opens.
For sellers focused on advertising specifically, the ad-focused breakouts at Accelerate tend to preview new campaign types, updated attribution tools, and changes to how Amazon measures and reports on ad performance. If you're trying to understand where your ad investment should go in Q4 2026 and into 2027, those sessions are worth the trip.
If You're Not Going In Person
The virtual option is your fallback. Amazon typically makes general session recordings available on demand after the conference, so if you can't make the live dates, the main announcements will still be accessible. The Seller Café and in-person networking don't transfer, but the policy announcements do.
Whether you attend in person or watch from home, the practical move for brand sellers is to block September 22 through 24 on the calendar now and treat it as a working week for Amazon strategy. The announcements that come out of Accelerate tend to require decisions fairly quickly, and teams that have already cleared the time to absorb and respond tend to move faster than those who catch up on the highlights three weeks later.
If you're thinking through your Q4 Amazon strategy and want a second perspective before Accelerate, you're welcome to schedule a call with the team. We'll be watching the conference closely and we're happy to walk through what the announcements mean for your specific brand and catalog.
