Here’s your 2025 Amazon and eCommerce Promotional Calendar

Here are the public holidays which typically have retail promotions associated with them, along with Amazon-specific sales holidays like Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days.

This list will be updated as we get new information.

June

  • June 15th: Father’s Day

July

  • July 4th: Independence Day
    • It’s on a Friday in 2025, so no extra days off!
  • Amazon Prime Day (date TBA)
    • Prime Day is, of course, two full days. It’s expected to be in mid-July.

August

August is also known as “the month that federal holidays forgot,” but it’s a good time to launch Back to School promos and continue them through early September.

September

  • September 1st: Labor Day
    • Labor Day weekend is Saturday, August 30th – Monday, September 1st.
  • September 23rd: Rosh Hashanah

October

  • October 2nd: Yom Kippur
  • October 13th: Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day and Canadian Thanksgiving
  • October 31st: Halloween
  • Prime Big Deal Days (dates TBA)
    • This will likely be in mid-October and run for five days.

November

Amazon has two promo periods, Turkey 5 and Turkey 12, associated with the Black Friday – Cyber Monday weekend, also known as BFCM.

Turkey 5 is Thursday, November 27th through Monday, December 1st.

In 2023, it was Turkey 11, and in 2024, it was Turkey 12. Will it be Turkey 13 in 2025? Let’s see! If Amazon keeps it to 12 days this year, it will begin on November 20th.

  • November 27th: Thanksgiving
  • November 28th: Black Friday

December

  • December 1st: Cyber Monday

Amazon 12 Days of Deals will likely begin on Tuesday, December 2nd. Each day is dedicated to a particular product category. Amazon Vendors work with Amazon VMs and CSMs to participate.
