Our 2026 guide is now live, but before you go, here’s what we know about this month, also known as “Q5”:
December
Amazon hasn’t formally released its December 2025 sale calendar yet, but based on Amazon’s consistent year-over-year patterns, you can expect the following promotional windows:
Early December – “Holiday Deals”
The first two weeks of December typically continue the momentum from BFCM with rolling Lightning Deals, Deal of the Day offers, and holiday-themed promotions. This is when Amazon pushes giftable items, fast-ship SKUs, and seasonal categories.
Mid-December – Last-Minute Deals / Last-Minute Gifts (through Dec 18)
This window focuses on gifts that qualify for Prime 2-day or next-day shipping. Previously branded as “Last Minute Deals,” this year it’s “Last Minute Gifts.” It focuses on items under $50 and items in stocking-stuffer categories.
In Canada: Boxing Week (Dec 19-26)
That’s right… Canadians get a boxing week. We’re jealous down here in the USA.
Late December – “Year-End Deals” / “After-Christmas Sale” (Dec 26–31)
Once Christmas passes, Amazon shifts to clearing inventory and promoting categories like fitness, electronics, and home. This is one of the best periods for liquidation and a strong moment for sellers to capture post-holiday gift-card spending.
Ongoing: Holiday Lightning Deals + Coupons
Throughout December, Amazon increases visibility for Lightning Deals, 7-day Deals, and coupons, especially those aligned with gifting, fast shipping, or Prime-eligible offers.
